Les bases de la Gestion des Resources Internet | 1 Jour
- D?crire les probl?mes autour de l??puisement des adresses IPv4 et aux risques que cela repr?sente par rapport au d?veloppement de l'Internet.
- Pr?senter des arguments afin d'expliquer l?inefficacit? du NAT qui n'est pas une solution durable au probl?me de l??puisement d'IPv4.
- Planifier leur besoins d'adresses IPv4 et faire une demande pour ces ressources ? AFRINIC.
- D?crire le processus d'?laboration des politiques, l'importance de ces politiques et comment y participer.
- D?crire la structure de la base de donn?es Whois.
- Identifier des objets cl?s de la base de donn?es Whois et leurs attributs.
- Cr?er et manipuler des objets de la base de donn?es Whois.
- Modifier la base de donn?es Whois selon les allocations de leurs clients.
- Tester leurs nouvelles allocations d?adresses.
Comprendre et utiliser IPv6 | 3 jours
- Concevoir un sch?ma pour les adresses IPv6 dans leurs organisations.
- Configurer IPv6 sur Windows/Mac et Linux.
- Configurer le routage IPv6 - statique , OSPFv3 et MP-BGP.
- Configurer les tunnels pour permettre aux sites IPv6 de communiquer avec les autres sites v6 ? travers un r?seau configur? uniquement en IPv4.
- Faire du brainstorming pour trouver des solutions aux probl?mes li?s ? IPv6 dans leurs organisations.
- Le mod?le OSI et les protocoles qui op?rent ? chaque niveau.
- Les adressages IPv4 et ?subnetting?
- Le routage intra-domaine et OSPF.
- Les services de base de r?seaux comme le DHCP et DNS .
- Comment utiliser les interfaces de commande en ligne sur des plate-formes de routage cl?s (i.e. Cisco IOS).
La participation ? cet atelier est gratuite et en priorit? r?serv?e ? nos membres mais aussi aux op?rateurs r?seaux ainsi qu'? quiconque int?resser ? comprendre comment cr?er et g?rer des r?seaux IPv6.
Des rafra?chissements et le d?jeuner seront servis. Veuillez noter qu'AFRINIC ne prend pas en charge les co?ts de transport et d'h?bergement des participants.

Internet Number Resources Management Fundamentals - 1 Day
- Describe the issues surrounding IPv4 depletion and the risks they pose for the continued evolution of the Internet.
- Make a good case for why NAT is bad and not a sustainable solution to the problem of IPv4 depletion.
- Plan their IP addressing needs and apply for resources from AFRINIC.
- Describe the policy development process, its importance and how to take part in it.
- Describe the structure of the Whois database and its importance.
- Identify the key objects of the Whois database and their attributes.
- Create and manipulate objects in the Whois database.
- Effect Whois database changes for allocations to customers.
- Test their new IP address allocations

Understanding and Deploying IPv6: 3 Days
- Design an IPv6 address scheme for their organisations.
- Configure IPv6 on Windows/Mac and Linux desktop operating systems.
- Build a routed IPv6 network using both static routing and OSPFv3.
- Configure tunnelling techniques to allow v6-capable sites talk to other v6 sites across a v4-only network.
- Brainstorm solutions to issues holding back IPv6 in their organisations.

Network engineers and systems administrators who understand how to design and build IPv4 networks.
Pre-requisites
- The OSI model and the various protocols that operate at each layer.
- IPv4 addressing and subnetting.
- Intra-domain routing and OSPF.
- Fundamentals of Inter-domain routing with BGP
- Basic network services like DHCP and DNS.
- How to use the command line interfaces of key routing platforms (e.g Cisco IOS)
Participation in this training workshop is FREE of charge for selected participants. Priority will always be given to participants who are AFRINIC members.
Tea and lunch will be served during the days of the workshop. Note that AFRINIC will not bear any transportation and/or accommodation costs for the participants.
Please note that there are only 35 seats available and seats will be allocated following a selection process. Registration will close automatically either when all 35 seats are booked or one week before the start of the training.
Selected candidates will be contacted directly and must confirm their attendance within 48 hours or else forfeit their seats.
